Corner Cleanup

Lead Summary

Crews wrap up work at the corner of Highway 75 and West Dodge Street Friday, July 13, after the intersection was torn up for more than a week.

Workers repaired a water main and moved a fire hydrant to the west. The water main problem had been discovered during the school year, but the city decided to fix it after school was out in order to avoid traffic congestion.

The hydrant was moved in order to prevent collisions with trucks turning the corner to and from Highway 75.
