On Monday, May 25, Americans will take a day to remember those who have died in service of our country.
Programs have been planned throughout the county.
The Hills American Legion Post #399 will host a program and speaker beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday at the Legion Hall in Hills.
The program will honor those who gave their lives in service and those who have served or are still serving today.
Refreshments will be served at the Legion following the placing of the wreath at the memorial.
Guest speaker will be the Rev. Grant Fischer, interim pastor at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
At the Hills-Beaver Creek Elementary School in Beaver Creek services will be at 10:30 a.m. with VFW military honors to follow at the Beaver Creek Cemetery.
