Commissioners resume in-person meetings

Lead Summary

Rock County Commissioners met Tuesday morning in a face-to-face meeting for the first time since March due to the coronavirus pandemic. Tables were spaced six feet apart and the number of people in the county meeting room was limited to 10. The public is encouraged to view the meeting from the Zoom link on the county website. The agenda included a closed session about the county’s court summons from Econolodge and Super 8 who are challenging property valuations. Also, the board discussed the ACLU lawsuit against the Sheriff’s Office for its handling of an arrest in December of 2018. The Star Herald will follow up on these stories next week and online at www.star-herald.com.
