Kevin and Kathy Jacobsma from Luverne Flowers and Greenhouse have recently been designated as FTD Master Florists, according to information released Friday by FTD.
“This elite recognition is only available to top quality florists that are part of the 100-year-old FTD florist network,” said Kelly Turner of FTD, who added that only 15 percent of FTD member florists are qualified for the Master Florist designation.
Luverne Flowers and Greenhouse received the designation based on quality work and customer service.
“Luverne Flowers and Greenhouse has become a hallmark in the Luverne and surrounding communities,” Turner said.
“They specialize in the freshest of flowers, great customer service and working with customers to create custom pieces for any occasion.”
Also mentioned in the FTD recognition were Chris Wahlert and George Bonnema.
“Their attention to detail with funeral and wedding pieces is extraordinary,” Turner said. “Luverne Flowers and Greenhouse is an asset in Luverne and the surrounding communities.”
FTD, headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois, uses independent florists to offer delivery of floral orders to nearly 100 percent of the U.S. population.
