Elbers, Kruse named 2020 4-H scholarship winners
Rock County 4-H’ers Whitney Elbers, Steen, and Christian Kruse, Ellsworth, will receive scholarships for 2020.
The county 4-H executive committee selected the students based on their involvement in state and local 4-H activities.
Elbers is the daughter of Kurt and Lanette Elbers and is a senior at Hills-Beaver Creek High School.
She is a member of the Blue Ribbon 4-H Club and earned scholarships sponsored by Sunshine Foods and the Marcel Reisch Scholarship Fund.
Kruse is the son of Eric and Anita Kruse and is a senior at Ellsworth High School. He is a member of the Magnolia Juniors 4-H Club and earned a scholarship from the Marcel Reisch Scholarship Fund.
Both have been 4-H members for nine years.
