Steve DeSplinter sanitizes countertops Saturday night in an empty Green Lantern Café and Bar in Hardwick. State officials closed all bars, restaurants and public accommodating venues March 18 to slow the spread of the coronavirus. DeSplinter and his wife, Linda, purchased the Green Lantern a year ago and business is now limited to curbside-pickup meals and off-sale liquor until May 17.
