To the Editor:
From what we learned at the Planning Committee meeting held July 13, and in talking with friends and neighbors, there are many who oppose the building on the green space within the bounds of Roundwind Road. We realize Luverne is in the midst of a housing shortage and are considering a number of progressive options. We fully encourage and applaud the council’s efforts. However, at what cost to the aesthetic integrity of the community are these plans to develop this beautiful piece of land?
Please consider carefully. Once gone, it will very likely never be regained. Thank you!
