Notice is hereby given per Minnesota Statutes 116.07, subd. 7(a), that Monte Zwaan will be applying to Rock County and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for a permit to expand a feedlot of 500 animal units (AU) or more.  

The proposed feedlot will be in the SE1/4 of Section 16 of Clinton Township, T101N, R45W, of Rock County, Minnesota. The feedlot currently has 2400 head of finishing swine housed in a total confinement for a total of 720 AU. The proposed construction will consist of one 2400 head total confinement barn housing finishing swine. The barns will have under-floor reinforced concrete pits to hold manure generated by the swine.  The final animal unit capacity will be 1440 AU after the construction. The feedlot will be owned by Monte Zwaan.

This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5,000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot as required by Minnesota State Law.
