October 12, 2020

The Hills-Beaver Creek School Board met for its semi-monthly meeting at 7:03 p.m 

in the H-BC Secondary School Media Center/via Zoom Mtg for Guest attendees –

based on MN Statute 13D.021.

Board members present were Bosch, Gehrke, Knobloch, LaRock, Rauk and

Wysong. Superintendent Holthaus, Principal Kellenberger and Business Manager

Rozeboom were also in attendance. Board Member Rozeboom was absent.

Motion by LaRock, second by Wysong, and carried to approve the agenda.

Visitor to the meeting was Mavis Fodness (Rock County Star Herald).

PATRIOT PRIDE:

-National Custodians Day October 2—Thanks to Lisa Durst, Dalton 

Bass, Deb Hartz, and Jason Rauk

-Homecoming Week October 19-23

-Bus Safety Week October 19-23

-October is National Principals Month—Way to go Mr. Kellenberger!

-October is Bullying Awareness Month—Unity Day is October 21

-FFA Corn Drive-10/09/2020

-Volleyball and Football have begun!

Motion by Knobloch, second by Rauk, and carried to approve minutes 9/28/2020.

Motion by LaRock, second by Knobloch, and carried to approve bills.

Motion by Wysong, second by Rauk, and carried to approve setting changing Staff

in-service time from Monday, January 18, 2021 to Monday, January 25, 2021. Motion by LaRock, second by Wysong, and carried to approve Assurances of

Compliance with the MN Department of Education.

PERSONNEL:

Motion by Rauk, second by Knobloch, and carried to approve the Memorandum of

Understanding with the Hills-Beaver Creek Education Association regarding

Secondary Teacher Advisory Time.

Motion by Knobloch, second by Rauk, and carried to approve 2021-2023

Superintendent/Elementary Principal Contract Agreement with Todd Holthaus.
