The Hills-Beaver Creek School Board met for its semi-monthly meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the District Board Room (301 N Summit Ave, Hills, MN).

Board members present were Bosch, Gehrke, Knobloch, Rauk, and Wysong.

Superintendent Holthaus and Business Manager Rozeboom were also in attendance. Principal Schilling and Board members LaRock and Rozeboom were absent. Visitors to the meeting were Mavis Fodness and Matt Taubert.

Motion by Bosch, second by Wysong, and carried to approve the agenda.

Auditor Report for District Financials Fiscal Year 2019: Meulebroeck, Taubert & Co., PLLP

PATRIOT PRIDE:

      •Jax Wysong scored his 1,000th point on 12/17/19 for H-BC Basketball

      •4th and 5th graders singing National Anthem at Basketball Games

      •6-12 Vocal and Band Music Concert on 12/16/19 - Mr. Olson and Mrs. 

        Comp

        •Soybean Producers for putting on the meal prior to the basketball game 

        on 12/17/219

    •Congratulations to the Lady Patriots for heading in Christmas break 

        undefeated.

      •Gavin Wysong--9-Man All State Football Player

      •The 8th grade class won the door decorating competition.

    •The 8th grade also won the middle school division of the Christmas

        Olympics and the juniors won the high school division.

Motion by Knobloch, second by Rauk, and carried to approve minutes of last

meeting, 12/09/2019.

Motion by Bosch, second by Knobloch, and carried to approve bills.

Motion by Wysong, second by Bosch, and carried to approve student accounts.

Motion by Bosch, second by Wysong, and carried to approve donations: $200 from Security Savings Bank for Community Education.

Motion by Wysong, second by Knobloch, and carried to approve the findings of the District’s Fiscal Year 2019 Financial Audit as presented by Meulebroeck, Taubert & Co., PLLP.

PERSONNEL:

Motion by Knobloch, second by Bosch, and carried to approve accepting Amanda Rozeboom’s resignation as Volleyball Coach.

Motion by Bosch, second by Knobloch, and carried to approve adding five hours per week to Karin Gaugler as Payroll Clerk.

Motion by Wysong, second by Rauk, and carried to approve hiring Dylan Gehrke as 9th grade basketball coach for the 2019-2020 school year.
