January 24, 2024
The Hills-Beaver Creek School Board met for its semi-monthly meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the H-BC School District Board room, 301 N Summit Ave, Hills, MN.
Board members and Administration present were Bosch, Gehrke, Harnack,
Helgeson, Rauk and Rozeboom. Superintendent Holthaus, Principal Kellenberger
and Business Manager Rozeboom were also in attendance. Board member
Uittenbogaard was absent.
Motion by Rozeboom, second by Harnack, and carried to approve the
agenda. Addition to the Agenda: 7.6.
Visitor to the meeting was Mavis Fodness of the Star Herald.
PATRIOT PRIDE:

•Students participation in the SW MN Honor Band in Marshall on Saturday,

Melanie Kruse’s request for FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) beginning on

Motion by Bosch, second by Harnack, and carried to approve Master Agreement with the Hills-Beaver Creek Education Association (Teachers) and the Hills-Beaver Creek ISD #671 for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 School years.
Motion by Helgeson, second by Rauk, and carried to approve Donation Reso-
lution:
•$14,000.00 from Frank Boon Trust for Drumline Equipment
•$500.00 from First Presbyterian Church for Elementary School
•$350.00 from Steen Reformed Church Sunday School for H-BC Students in
need administrative discretion
•$40.00 from Blackbaud Giving Fund for Secondary Student Council
