Sept. 25, 2023
The Hills-Beaver Creek School Board met for its semi-monthly meeting at 8:00 p.m. at the H-BC School District Board room, 301 N Summit Ave, Hills, MN.
Board members and Administration present were Bosch, Gehrke, Harnack,
Helgeson, Rozeboom and Uittenbogaard. Superintendent Holthaus and Business
Manager Rozeboom were also in attendance. Board member Rauk and Principal
Kellnberger were absent.
Assigned Tim Bosch as Acting Clerk.
Motion by Bosch, second by Harnack, and carried to approve the agenda.
Visitors to the meeting were Mavis Fodness (Rock County Star Herald) and
Megan Klumper.

Motion by Harnack, second by Rozeboom, and carried to approve consent
agenda:
-Minutes—09/11/2023
-Bills
-Imprest Cash Report
-Treasurer Report as of 8/31/23
-Student Activity Account as of 8/31/23
Motion by Uittenbogaard, second by Bosch, and carried to approve setting
2023 pay 2024 School District Levy at the Maximum Amount allowed.
Motion by Rozeboom, second by Harnack, and carried to approve setting Pay 2024 Truth in Taxation and Budget Hearing for 7 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2023.
Motion by Helgeson, second by Uittenbogaard, and carried to approve identifying Columbus/Indigenous Peoples Day, October 9, 2023, as a non-school
district holiday and holding a board of education regular meeting on that day.
Motion by Bosch, second by Harnack, and carried to approve entering
a five year lease agreement for print/copy services and maintenance agree--
ments with Gordon Flesch Company.
Motion by Rozeboom, second by Bosch, and carried to approve remove and
replace fence along west side of football field property
