City of Luverne Child Care - Roof Replacement

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by Knutson Construction Services for the Child Care Center Roof Replacement project located in Luverne, Minnesota. Sealed bids / proposals for each individual Trade Package and / or combined Trade Package will be received until 2:00 p.m. C.S.T. on October 16, 2023. The bids shall be delivered to Luverne City Offices, 305 E. Luverne St., Luverne, MN 56156. Bids will
be opened publicly and read aloud at the above time and place. Bids received after 2:00
p.m. will be returned, unopened. Bids must be submitted on the prescribed bid forms and
in accordance with the requirements of the contract Documents.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at the site location, 1 Roundwind Road, Luverne,
MN 56156, on October 10, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. C.S.T. Pre-bid will not be mandatory, but
highly recommended for any interested parties. Any questions or concerns with the pre-bid can be directed to Jack Gafkjen, Knutson Project Engineer at 612-916-7965 or

The Contractor and all subcontractors shall submit to the Owner a signed statement
verifying compliance with each of the criteria described in the State of Minnesota
“Responsible Contractor” law as codified in Minnesota Statute section 16C.285. See
the Instructions to Bidders for more details.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid.
Contractor's Proposals shall hold firm for ninety (90) days from the date of opening.
Mutually agreed upon extensions of time may be made, if necessary.
The Contract Documents will be available to view and purchase on the Quest CDN Online Plan Room at https://www.questcdn.com. The documents are anticipated to be available on September 27, 2023, and will also be made available at the local plan rooms in the region. Knutson Construction Services Rochester, Inc. is the Construction Manager at Risk and ISG Inc. is the Architect for City of Luverne Child Care Center - Roof Replacement Project.
- Knutson Construction Services intends to submit a proposal for the general trades package scope of work. The owner will select a 3rd party representative to receive the bids for that trade package to maintain transparency and competitive bidding.
