The architect’s drawing of the new school performing arts center was revealed at Friday night’s LIFT Gala. Last week 518 theater seats were removed and other preparations completed to transform the former Luverne Middle-High School auditorium, more commonly known as the Little Theater, into the new band and choir suites. Work begins in earnest Tuesday on the planned $30 million building project that includes an $8 million performing arts center. The project is scheduled to be completed in late 2020.
