Close game give Tri-State Buffalos another win

The Tri-State Buffalos gained an impressive victory over the St. Peter Panic on Saturday night in St. Peter, leaving them at 3-1. 

The Panic ranked first in the nation and were placed first in the Southern Plains Football League. 

In the first quarter the Buffalos scored two touchdowns and once more in the second leaving the game tied at halftime with a score of 21-21. 

The Buffalo side of the scoreboard remained at a standstill until the fourth quarter. With only eight minutes left in the game the Buffalos were behind 43-21. 

Finally the Buffalos scored 25 unanswered points, going on to win the game 46-43. 

Quarterback Jordan Larson threw four touchdowns and ran in the fifth. 

He threw a total of 304 yards and ran for 88 yards. Wide receiver Seth Nuffer scored two touchdowns, Taylor Reese one touchdown and Jason Brown one touchdown. Alex Touple, running back, also scored one touchdown. 

The Buffalos defense was led by Taylor Leuthold with an interception for a touchdown. 

The Buffalos are now ranked fourth among semi-pro teams in the nation as well as tied for second in the Southern Plains League.
