Valentine’s Day came early for chocolate eaters attending the Sixth Annual Chocolate Buffet at the United Methodist Church in Luverne Sunday. Six-year-old Ella VanWyhe, Steen, came with her grandma, Marilyn VanWyhe, and spent some time practicing her chocolate-covered-strawberry-making skills. The weekend snowstorm put a big dent in the crowd, but organizers welcomed those who showed up with a round of applause. The annual event raises money for the church’s Compassion Fund, which is used to provide temporary help for people in need.
