Tickets for the Hills Community Theatre spring production went on sale this week.
The group is performing the comedy/mystery “A Little Murder Never Hurt Anyone.”
The play was written by Ron Bernas and will be directed by Ruthmary Jackson and Dolores Bundesen.
Both directors are enjoying their work. As Jackson explains, “It’s so much fun seeing friends take on new characters!”
The show involves a wife and husband who are becoming less than enchanted with married life — they are looking for an easy way out.
Jackson has plenty of faith in her cast, saying, “As always, HCT members will bring their characters to life and leave the audience laughing and wondering just how it will all turn out.”
“A Little Murder Never Hurt Anyone” will be presented as a dinner theater over five nights in March. Performances are scheduled for March 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23. Tickets are $20 each, including the dinner, and can be purchased by calling 507-962-3411.
The Hills Community Theatre group is offering sponsorship opportunities for 2013. Sponsorship recognition is available at all financial levels and helps fund the spring dinner show and the children’s musical in the fall. Sponsors will be recognized in printed materials and online postings.
The purpose of the Hills Community Theatre is to provide an environment that encourages and inspires growth and creativity in people of all ages and skill levels. All who have an interest in the performing arts, whether on stage or behind the scenes, are welcome.
