The Hills-Beaver Creek boys’ basketball team evened its Red Rock Conference mark at 5-5 by posting a 63-48 victory over Murray County Central Friday in Slayton.
H-BC canned 51 percent of its field goals and sported a 38-17 rebounding advantage in the 15-point win.
The Patriots rolled to a 42-34 lead in the first 18 minutes of play before outscoring the Rebels 21-14 in the second half to ice the win.
Jeff Sandbulte (20 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals), Dylan Gehrke (13 points and 10 rebounds), Jon Gallagher (12 points and 10 rebounds) and Carey Taubert (12 points and seven rebounds) highlighted H-BC’s winning effort.
