Sponsored by First Farmers & Merchants Bank and Papik Motors, a free, family-friendly movie is shown on the first Thursday of every month as it was done for “Bank Nite” in the 1930s. LHS financial aid information night is Jan. 16
The Luverne High School Guidance Department will host a financial aid information night for seniors and their parents at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, in the high school Little Theatre.
An area college financial aid administrator will be present to conduct the meeting. Dollars for Scholars applications will also be distributed.
Sign up for Community Ed’s fifth-/sixth-grade basketball tourney
Teams may sign up now for Luverne Community Education’s invitational basketball tournament on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, for fifth- and sixth-grade boys’ and girls’ teams. Pool play format is used with six courts available in one building. Students are guaranteed at least two games.
