The Hills-Beaver Creek boys’ basketball team slipped to 1-2 in Red Rock Conference play after entertaining Edgerton for a league game Thursday in Hills.
The Flying Dutchmen stole the show by outscoring the Patriots in both halves of the game to secure an 87-65 victory.
Edgerton, which converted 57 percent of its field goals in the game, raced to a 47-28 lead in the first half.
The Flying Dutchmen used a 40-37 scoring edge in the second half to increase their final margin of victory to 22 points.
Jeff Sandbulte (22 points and six rebounds), Dylan Gehrke (20 points, six rebounds and five assists) and Carey Taubert (12 points and six rebounds) paced H-BC statistically.
Zach Wagenaar pulled down five rebounds and Dalton Bass charted four assists for H-BC.
