2013 Teacher of the Year and Arlene Bendix Friend of Education

Luverne 2013 Teacher of the Year Jerry Benson told his peers Monday that he’s happy about the award, but he shared credit with all teachers. “Luverne takes pride in excellence,” he said. “We have a lot of kids who go on to acheive a lot, and that’s 101 percent due to the faculty here. You do a lot for your kids.”
