ATLAS For Life offers new classes
ATLAS For Life will offer the following classes at their Luverne office in January:
•ALPHA class, exploring the meaning of life, starts at 5 p.m. Sundays through March 11.
•Dave Ramsey “Financial Peace University” starts at 7 p.m. Tuesdays continues until April 10.

Order daffodils to save lives
Daffodil orders are being taken now until Wednesday, Feb. 22, for the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days. The flowers are due to arrive the week of March 12.

‘Quilting Through the Ages,’ at Carnegie
The Blue Mound Quilters Club presents its “Quilting Through the Ages” display this month at the Carnegie Cultural Center, Luverne. The public is encouraged to view the different styles, colors and patterns of quilts through Feb. 24 at the Carnegie, which is open from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. A public reception will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12.
Rock/Nobles Cattlemen’s Banquet Feb. 6
The annual Rock and Nobles County Cattlemen’s Association Banquet will begin at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, with a social hour followed by a 6:30 p.m. steak dinner at the Blue Mound Banquet Center. Tickets are $15, which includes the dinner and entertainment by ventriloquist and comedian Dave Malmberg.

The Grace Lutheran Church, 500 N. Kniss Ave., Luverne, and the Red Cross and will host a blood drive from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6. The double red machine will be available.

A kick off meeting for the Hospice Charity dinner and auction fundraiser will begin at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at the Blue Mound Banquet Center in Luverne.

LHS to host 32nd Winter Carnival Feb. 11
Luverne Music Boosters will host their annual Winter Carnival from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, in the Luverne High School Gym. The evening will include a cakewalk, prizes, carnival games, bingo, a raffle and more. Concessions will be available. Proceeds benefit the Luverne music programs and related activities.
