Grand Falls Casino Resort opens, Thursday, June 9th, less than one year from its ground breaking on June 23, 2010. A visit to the casino on Wednesday found crews busy finishing the final touches for the grand opening.

Opening weekend will feature local and mini-national live entertainment in their Show Lounge, including Richee Lee and the Fabulous Fifties, The Rude Band, Mustang Sally and Risky Business as well as a fireworks display on Friday night at 9:30 p.m.

The resort includes an array of amenities including; a casino floor with 900 slot machines, 28 table games, 8 poker tables; a 97 Room Hotel, 3 restaurants, a 1,100 seat Event Center, Show Lounge with dance floor, a Spa, gift shop, boutique, wellness center and an indoor and outdoor pool.
