Winterfest Art Fair draws constant crowds

By Amanda Greenwood

The Luverne Elementary School commons area and gym was bustling with talented vendors and interested shoppers during the art fair. An estimated 1200 people attended with more than 100 booths participating. Many holiday decorations dotted different display booths during the event. Other available items included jams, snack mixes, cosmetic products, purses, clothing, home decor, kitchen utensils and much, much more.

Among the activity, Rock County 4-H hosted "Make and Take" crafts, Jim Juhl of Myre Studio took pictures of children with Santa and Mrs. Claus (Rodger Ossenfort and wife, Dianne Ossenfort) and volunteers staffed the concession stand during the event.
