Luther College accepts Lonneman
Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, has announced that Mitchell Lonneman, Adrian, has been accepted for admission for the 2017-18 academic year. Lonneman has been awarded the President's Scholarship.

Bethany Lutheran College releases fall 2016 dean’s list
Andrew Jelken, son of James and Paula Jelken, Luverne, and Cora Mumme, daughter of Mark and Beth Mumme, Hardwick, were named to the Fall 2016-17 Academic Year Dean’s List at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato. Both are 2014 graduates of Luverne High School
To be named, students must earn at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale while carrying at least 14 credits.
SDSU releases fall dean’s list
South Dakota State University in Brookings has named several area students to the dean’s list for Fall 2016 semester. To be named, students must earn at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Students with an asterisk received a 4.0. (Key for acronyms at end.)
