Rock County Fair Premium Book released June 7
The Rock County Star Herald’s annual Fair Premuium Book will be distributed in the June 7 Announcer. The publication lists the upcoming categories for open class and 4-H entries in the 2015 Rock County Fair.
Free Food Ministry is May 21
The monthly Food Ministry, sponsored by New Life Celebration Church, will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at the Luverne Senior Center. If you’re having trouble putting food on the table, come for fresh produce, bread and meat. Children will be asked to wait outside.
Area schools announce graduation dates
Local schools will host graduation ceremonies on the following dates:
•Ellsworth High School is at 7 p.m. Friday, May 22, in the high school gym;
•Hills-Beaver Creek High School will be at 7 p.m. Friday, May 22, in the high school gym; and
Free community meal May 27 at UMC
The free Fourth Wednesday Community Meal will start at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, at the United Methodist Church in Luverne.
