Residents of H-BC district asked to complete survey
The Hills-Beaver Creek School District is conducting a Flexible Learning Year Initiative survey. All residents in the H-BC school district are asked to go to the H-BC website, www.hbcpatriots.com and click on the survey link. The H-BC Board of Education will consider the results of the survey in determining whether to continue to be a member of the FLY Initiative going forward into the 2016-2017 school year.
Bank Nite movie ‘Big Hero 6’ May 7
The free Bank Nite movie, “Big Hero 6,” will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at the Palace Theatre in Luverne.
Sponsored by First Farmers & Merchants National Bank and Papik Motors, a free, family-friendly movie is shown on the first Thursday of every month as it was done for “Bank Nite” in the 1930s. A cash prize drawing will follow the movie. Must be present to win.

•Adrian High School is at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 15, in the high school gym;
•Ellsworth High School is at 7 p.m. Friday, May 22, in the high school gym;
•Hills-Beaver Creek High School will be at 7 p.m. Friday, May 22, in the high school gym; and
•Luverne High School is at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 17, in the Cardinal Gym at Luverne Elementary School.
