Christmas for Kids VBS offered at Bethany Dec. 16
All children ages 4-13 are invited to Bethany Lutheran Church’s Christmas VBS titled “Come to the Manger” from 1-4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16. The theme of the first Christmas will be celebrated in fun crafts, songs and snacks. The church is located at 720 N. Kniss in Luverne.
Blood drive at Luverne High School Dec. 20
Luverne High School will host a Red Cross Blood Drive from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, at the school at 709 N. Kniss. Appointments to give blood can be made online at redcrossblood.org or by calling 1-800-733-2767.
A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Donors must be 17 years of age, or 16 with parental consent, and weigh at least 110 pounds.
