Blue Mound Quilters will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, in the Luverne Library to make pillowcases for boys. Please bring fabric and necessary tools.

Nov. 3 Bank Nite movie at the Palace:  ‘Goosebumps’
The free Bank Nite movie, “Goosebumps,” rated PG, will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at the Palace Theatre in Luverne. Sponsored by First Farmers & Merchants National Bank and Papik Motors, a free, family-friendly movie is shown on the first Thursday of every month as it was done for “Bank Nite” in the 1930s. A cash prize drawing will follow the movie. Must be present to win.
 
One Warm Coat Project distributes coats Nov. 5 and 10
The Rock County One Warm Coat Project will be providing coats for anyone in need from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, and from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10. The distribution location is ATLAS for Life, 201 East Main Street, Luverne. Call 283-9664.
 
LHS presents fall play Nov. 4-5
The Luverne High School will present “Case of the Missing Gobbler” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4-5, in the high school auditorium.
Cost is $6 for adults, $4 for K-12 students. Activity passes are accepted. Concessions are also available both nights.
 
Elementary students perform ‘Off Their Rockers’ Nov. 11
The Luverne Elementary School third- and fourth-graders will present “Off Their Rockers,” a celebration of ’20s and ’60s music, at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, in the Luverne Elementary Gym.
 
Hardwick Veterans Day Banquet
A Veterans Day Banquet at the Legion Hall in Hardwick will begin with a Social Hour at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Justin Siebenahler, master sergeant of the Air Force, will speak, and Bruce Dysthe will provide music. The event is sponsored by the Hardwick American Legion.
 
SHARE collecting applications from now until  Nov. 28
The Rock County SHARE distribution of groceries, clothing and toys to Rock County residents in need will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at the Luverne National Guard Armory. Those wishing to receive from the program must apply by Nov. 28.
