Meetings
Kenneth Cemetery Association will be holding an informational meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at the Kenneth Community Center. This meeting is for all who have loved ones buried at the Kenneth Cemetery. Please inform other family memebers.
Blue Mound Quilters will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, April 4, at the Rock County Public Library. Mary Akkerman will do a demonstration. All quilters are invited and welcome.

Springwater Township Board will hold their regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at the home of Teresa Kramer.

Beaver Creek Township Board of Appeal and Equalization will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, April 11.

Mound Township Board meets at 7:30 p.m. the second Monday each month at the Rock County Highway Building, Luverne.

Grace Lutheran hosts blood drive April 4
Grace Lutheran Church in Luverne will host a Red Cross blood drive from 1-7 p.m. Monday, April 4. The double red cell machines will be available.

The American Red Cross encourages eligible donors to give blood during National Volunteer Month this April and make a difference in the lives of patients in need.
 
Luverne Kindergarten Round-Up
Luverne Kindergarten Round-Up will be Thursday, March 31, at the Luverne Elementary School. Session one is geared toward new kindergarten parents and will begin at 5:30 p.m. Session 2 is an informal meet and greet time and will run from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Children must be five years old before Sept. 1, 2016, in order to register for kindergarten. FamilyLife ‘I STILL Do’ Marriage Enrichment
Couples are welcome to join FamilyLife from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at the Living Rock Church in Luverne to affirm the fundamental importance of a strong, healthy, commited marriage in every culture. Couples will have a chance to reaffirm that their marriage matters to both their children and the rest of society. Lunch will be catered by The Bluestem. Cost is $40 per couple.
 
Grief support group begins April 4
Sanford Luverne Hospice will offer a five-week Grief Support Group beginning April 4. Meetings will be Mondays from April 4 to May 2 from 5-6:30 p.m. at Sanford Luverne Medical Center in the Blue Mound Room. Register by calling the Hospice office at 507-283-1805.
 
American Reformed Bible Study Fellowship hosts Guest Night April 5
A Bible Study Fellowship group for women meets Tuesdays at 6:45 p.m. in the American Reformed Church, Luverne. Tuesday, April 5, is guest night. Those interested in learning more about BSF and those interested in registering for the Fall 2016 study of the Book of John are invited to attend. Bank Nite movie ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip’ at Palace April 7
The free Bank Nite movie, “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip,” rated PG, will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 7, at the Palace Theatre in Luverne.
Sponsored by First Farmers & Merchants National Bank and Papik Motors, a free, family-friendly movie is shown on the first Thursday of every month as it was done for “Bank Nite” in the 1930s. A cash prize drawing will follow the movie. Must be present to win.
