Meetings

The Blue Mound Quilters will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 3, at the Rock County Library.  Mary Crawford will be in charge of the program. All quilters are welcome.

Pink Ladies of Sanford Luverne Hospital will meet at noon Monday, April 10, in the Blue Mound Room for a potluck salad luncheon and regular meeting. Bring eating utensils.

History Center open 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

The new History Center on East Main Street in Luverne will be open regularly from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Call 283-2122 with questions.

 ‘Dixie Swim Club’ coming to Palace

The Green Earth Players community theater group will perform “The Dixie Swim Club” March 31-April 2 in the Palace Theatre in Luverne. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday show is at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the Palace Box Office, 507-283-4339, or at the door.

 

‘Coffee with a Cop’ March 31 in Magnolia

Rock County Sheriff Evan Verbrugge will host “Coffee with a Cop” from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 31, in the Magnolia Café. Commissioner Gary Overgaard will also be at the event.

They will answer questions and provide information about law enforcement in the county.

 

Sign up for bus trip to ‘Grease’ by March 31

Grief support begins April 3

Sanford Luverne Hospice will offer a five-week grief support group for anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. Meetings are from 5-6:30 p.m. every Monday for five weeks beginning April 3 at Sanford Luverne Blue Mound Room. Meetings are free and confidential. Call Jilll Roemen at 507-283-1805 to register.

 

American Red Cross blood drive April 3

The American Red Cross will host a blood drive at Grace Lutheran Church from 1-7 p.m. Monday, Arpil 3.
