Blue Mounds State Park Advisory Group
The Minnesota DNR will host the fourth and final meeting of the Blue Mounds State Park Citizen Advisory Group from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 27, in the picnic shelter of the park. Agenda items include a walking tour of the picnic grounds and beach to discuss potential recreational features. The public is invited to participate.
Elementary students perform ‘Go Fish’ April 28
Luverne Elementary first- and second-graders will present their program, “Go Fish,” at 2 p.m. Friday, April 28, in the Elementary School Gym. The performance is open to the public.
LWML Spring Rally April 29 in Luverne

Bank Night movie ‘A Dog’s Purpose’ May 4
The free Bank Nite movie, “A Dog’s Purpose,” rated PG, will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 4, at the Palace Theatre in Luverne.
Sponsored by First Farmers & Merchants National Bank and Papik Motors, a free, family-friendly movie is shown on the first Thursday of every month as it was done for “Bank Nite” in the 1930s. A cash prize drawing will follow the movie. Must be present to win.
