Traveling in Europe we found ourselves several blocks from the hotel where our bus would soon be leaving. It was still a long walk when the wheels on our largest (and heaviest) suitcase gave out, and suddenly we were working very hard to manage our baggage and get to where we needed to be on time. Later we were able to purchase a small foldable cart to use on the remainder of the trip. What a relief it was to have help carrying our heavy load.
God invites us to bring all of our burdens to Him. He cares about us and wants to help us.
Dear Father of all Compassion, sometimes we feel overwhelmed and don't know where to turn. Lift us up with your loving strength. Teach us how to compassionately care for each other as You care for us in Your precious name. Amen.
