A boy, Kohen David, weighing 8 pounds, 10 ounces, and 21 inches long, was born Saturday, June 1, 2019, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Clint and Stephanie Roozenboom of Steen. He joins a sister, Hadley, 3. Grandparents are Dave and Eunice Roozenboom, Sioux Falls, and Chuck and Norma Van Wyhe, Luverne.

An open house baby shower for Adria Benson will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 22, at the First Presbyterian Church in Luverne. A book is requested in lieu of a card.
A bridal shower for April McClure, bride-to-be of Mike McFarland, will be from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Luverne.
Verna Garnmeister will celebrate her 95th birthday with an open house from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 23, at St. John Lutheran Church in Luverne.
